PLANTZ was selected to add the finishing green touch in the new sales center for BTI Partners at Marina Pointe in south Tampa – a 10’ x 12’ plant wall that encompasses a panel TV for sales presentations. The vertical display features a drip irrigation system and over 800 individual plants consisting of pepperomia, fern, pothos, and dracaena.
“The project is trend-setting in many ways,” said Steve Stanford, president at PLANTZ. “It’s the largest green wall in the Tampa Bay market and will help solidify Marina Pointe’s place as the premier waterfront community in Tampa. Besides all that, it looks really cool.”
The wall is fabricated with all aluminum and stainless steel components by Green Living Technologies, an industry leader in green roofs, green walls, and vertical farms. George Irwin, the president and founder of GLTi was on hand to personally ensure its installation and PLANTZ team members Lori Snow and Keith Lindquist developed the design.
“The structure is very well built, and George was key to getting it done,” continued Steve. “We started installing last Wednesday and got it done just before the grand opening event for the sales center on Thursday. We’re blessed to have such a talented team and excited to participate at Marina Pointe. We look forward to growing this wall for even greater impact.”
