This morning PLANTZ happily donated beautiful Poinsettias for centerpieces at Metropolitan Ministries’ Breakfast of Champions. Metropolitan Ministries goal for this breakfast was to collect 40,000 LBS. of non-perishable food items and 4,000 toys. Guests of the breakfast heard Tod Leiwke and Al Higginbothom speak on behalf of Metropolitan Ministries. Guests at the breakfast made cash donations and were encouraged to take the Poinsettias home with them for the holidays.
Metropolitan Ministries faithfully reaches out to poor, hungry and homeless men, women and children in their time of need — providing life-changing answers, and donations during the Christmas season are especially useful in fulfilling their mission in the Tampa Bay community.
