PLANTZ Fosters Growth of Entrepreneurs through Donation of Office Plant Care Services to Tampa Bay WaVE

Tampa, FL (February 25, 2014) – PLANTZ, a plant management company, is donating its Office Plant Care services to encourage entrepreneurial growth at Tampa Bay WaVE’s First WaVE Venture Center headquartered on the second floor of the Rivergate Tower in downtown Tampa. Tampa Bay WaVE is a “by entrepreneur, for entrepreneur” non-profit incubator that helps entrepreneurs turn ideas into thriving technology ventures in the Tampa Bay area.
“The entrepreneurial spirit at Tampa Bay WaVE is exactly what our community needs, which is why we are inspired to donate our services to enhance their offices,” says Steve Stanford, owner of PLANTZ,  “This is part of our ongoing effort to continue to give back to the Tampa Bay business community.”

Office plant experts, Sue Waltzer and Jeff Drake, completed the installation of plants and planters to enhance the First WaVE Venture Center, used by 40-100 people daily.  The high ceilings in the space at Rivergate Tower allowed the PLANTZ team to use large plants, create unique plant portraits or plant walls, at the entrance of the space and coordinate the planter colors with the Tampa Bay WaVE logo. All was done to bring out the creative spirit of the entrepreneurs in the FirstWaVE Venture Center.

“We are very excited to have PLANTZ come in to spruce up our space. The greenery adds life to our area and makes the office a more vibrant place,” says Gracie Stemmer, marketing manager for Tampa Bay WaVE, “Luckily, we don’t have to have a ‘green thumb’ to keep the plants alive. PLANTZ will help us care for the new additions, as well.”

PLANTZ was founded in the 1970s and currently serves over 400 plant management customers ranging from just a few plants to multi-building corporate complexes. PLANTZ specializes in plant management in commercial settings, event foliage and landscaping for commercial and residential properties.
