In the local tech community, there are few names as well known as Tampa Bay WaVe. As they are continually growing, WaVE has moved into a bigger space that better meets their evolving needs – and they asked PLANTZ to help them celebrate the occasion at their grand opening on October 16th with beautiful event plants!
Hillsborough County Commissioner Sandy Murman explained that the “by entrepreneur, for entrepreneur” business venture, tech accelerator, and co-working space has helped 107 companies and has created 424 jobs in the local community.
“Economic development is where it’s happening – technology is where it’s happening,” said Murman said during the event. “We need the startups – we need to help them become bigger and better.”
This event was not only a big milestone for Tampa Bay WaVe as a company, but also for the local area itself. This esteemed company not only focuses on growing companies and businesses, but also on improving the local community that has embraced entrepreneurship and their start-ups.
“Mentorship and feedback from members of the local tech community are crucial components to helping startups grow,” said WaVe Board Chairman Mark Swanson.
PLANTZ was honored to help decorate this grand opening event for such a community-driven company. We are always proud to support businesses that are as driven to improve the Tampa Bay area as we are!
